Eugene’s tattoo design influences ranged from traditional Polynesian, Filipino tribal, to the wider known Sailor Jerry, and the more obscure, yet prolific Rosie Camanga. In his later years, he was deeply inspired by the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) culture in his adopted home of Kamuela, HI. This is an amalgamation of the richness he was inspired by and the art he so deeply loved.
